Our aim is to redefine what being a British artist truly means, by calling our audiences to experience new sounds in the boldest British setting possible.
OUR STORY…
RedBox Records started as an idea, in the living room of founder, Sara Vieira’s family home. With immigrant parents, but being born and raised in South-London, Sara was immersed in all kinds of music from a young age, and grew a particular passion for UK music.
Getting a red telephone box in the home was a running joke in Sara’s family, with her dad being a London Taxi driver, and her mum thinking that the aesthetic would be hilarious considering that they were immigrants, the thought became a reality. So there the red telephone box sat, in the family living room. After sitting in the corner for six months, with Sara not being able to understand why on Earth they had the telephone box in the first place, inspiration grew, and the idea of creating a new and exciting platform to host some of the best UK music, while redefining what being British meant, as well as calling new audiences to listen and discover brilliant talent, came alive.
Since then, RedBox Records has taken on the challenge to be a leading platform to support UK musicians, and the brand continues to evolve and grow.
